National Park Fun
If you are a 4th grader, you are in luck. You can get a pass that allows you and your family into any National Park for free. Go here to get your pass now. We used our pass to go to Muir Woods near San Francisco. At Muir Woods , we hiked up mountains, saw a tree thousands of years old, smelled the fresh evergreen air and saw God's beautiful wonders and creation all over the park. When we entered, we entered a world of green green green. You could hear the sound of birds all throughout the forest. The other cool thing I found out about was the Junior Ranger Program . Using this national parks program, kids can fill out a few papers, say a pledge, receive a badge, and maybe a park ranger will even sign a certificate for them. When we said the pledge, the lady told us to repeat after her, and we ended up saying, "And I promise to eat all the veggies on my plate." I enjoyed Muir Woods! ...
